Dear Community Member:
Broward County Parks & Recreation Division provides many programs and services to County residents and we are currently assessing how well we are meeting your needs and the needs of the community. The Division is working to create a Master Plan for Parks, Recreation, Conservation and Greenways/Trails for future enhancements, and we need your help!
Please help us develop a plan for existing and possibly future parks, natural areas, recreation, programs, facilities and services. Only a random sampling of households has received this survey, so your responses are very important to the Needs Assessment process. Even if you do not currently use these facilities and services, we would still like to hear from you.
ALL responses are important to us and will be kept confidential. Aggregate data will be used to assist County leaders in writing a plan that will shape the recreational and cultural opportunities in your community for the future. We encourage you to discuss the following questions with members of your household so answers reflect combined opinions.
In appreciation for your participation, you can enter a drawing to win: • A Family Parks Passport, valued at $60, which provides free admission for up to six people to regional parks that charge a weekend/holiday gate entrance fee. Good for one year from date of issue. One Family Parks Passport will be awarded.
• An Individual Seasonal Water Park Pass (Find It All Card) to the water park of your choice (Castaway Island, T.Y. Park; Paradise Cove, C.B. Smith Park; Splash Adventure, Quiet Waters Park; Tropical Splash, Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium), valued up to $76. Good through September 30, 2012. Four Find It All Cards will be awarded. Does not include weekend/holiday gate entrance fee into the park.
You will be given the opportunity to enter the prize drawing if you choose to complete the survey online. Winners of the random drawing will be contacted by phone and/or e-mail in June 2012.
Thank you sincerely for participating,
Dan West, Director, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division
